that's what 2 deceived ms's told a non-dub friend and his jw wife when they mentioned the wtbts owns 51% of a company's stock that is developing engines for the us military.

i know the ms's have the sec report for rand where warfare technology r&d is mentioned because i managed to get it to one of them without him knowing the source from whence it originated.

when my friend (he does all the questioning to keep his wife from getting called apostate) asked them where they got their 411 that rand is not developing warfare technology from the 2 dubs said, "the society told us".

as of July 2002 they were still stockholders..at one point they said 44 % and another they said 50%In April 2002 the company had entered into a contract with the Navy for a Module for a "New Smart Warfighter unmanned aerial vehicle....(RC Bomb?)

That is so awe inspiring...I feel the same way. It's up to us..but we are so small..how do we do it? Unless everyone on the earth cooperates..I too fear we shall destroy the earth as we know it.

I do not fear God of doing this..I fear man.

And considering we are but a mere speck..you have to wonder what else is really out there?

2nd posting on this topic...More serious side of why I fell in love..

I loved his tan ..muscular body..his tall physic..his brown natural wavy hair touched by sunlight in front so he had golden highlights..his pearly white teeth when he smiled at me..his wonderful large rugged hands from working so hard..I knew he would always take care of me...

His wonderful hugs..I even loved the way he would put his arm around me when driving and get my shoulder wet with his sweat!..

His wonderful blue eyes...the sweet way he carried me home when our car got stranded in a sudden snowstorm because he just had to see me..and I was wearing dress shoes..

And how when he cut a big gash in his foot he still went to work driving a truck with a clutch he had to push just so we would have food to eat and a roof over our head!

Those memories helped carry me through the rough times ahead..when he went off to meetings..and came home "Different"..I knew it wasn't the "Real him"..

How about a nice ribeye? Is that a veggie?How about if I throw in a Baked potato and some asparagus..

Now I am getting hungry..

But I really do like almost all veggies..never did like tomatoes tho..ugh!..

I have a grandson that is 14..he will not eat anything that is green..which lets out a lot of veggies..

His Mom says he will eat them when he is ready..whatever that means..when he is 80?..He already looks anemic!..

But will they listen to grandma...no..

Snoozy...Who would love to plant a garden if someone will come and dig it up for her...

Because we spent too much time in the back seat of his Powder blue and white brand new 56 Plymouth Convertable..with White leather seats..(He had a job)

We were horney...

I wasn't happy at home...

and I was pregy...

But it lasted for 45 years!

Then we got a 57 Chevy Convertable and I got pregy again!...

Then we settled down and the third time I got pregy in the bed of our bedroom...

Somewhere along the line I fell in love with him...He already worshipped me... I was his sex goddess...

His Mom was a JW but he didn't go to meetings..I didn't become one until my 2nd child was almost two years old.Hubby would go with me sometimes but not regular.. Dropped out when my 3rd child was 15..and hubby decided to start going about 10 years later..alone..

My adventures to the Kingdom Hall

my story begins like this.

i was missing 2 important peices of mail.

one was my credit card, the other was a cell phone i'm getting from a friend.

Part like the Red Sea! That was funny!..

Well, my experience was at hubby's memorial at the KH..I chose the one by his JW Mom's because they are so nice there..country people..always treated me with respect if they dropped in to visit his Mom or whatever..

So when we arrive..we found out seats..(Kids and I) and after the "Talk" was over..family members all got together in the front of the hall. When we walked out some of the witnesses from our old KH we used to attend were there. Now here's the ones from the country hall giving us hugs..talking with us..consoling us..(And they know we are no longer JW's)..and the other side..the ones from our old hall..I got such icy stares from them.(Except 2 of them).wouldn't talk to any of us..I just smiled..said hi..and kept walking..how bizzare is that?. One lady DID come up and squeeze my hand..but her hubby..an elder..took her arm and escorted her away..but she did have time to tell me she had had two heart attacks..she was one of the sweet ones..oh yeah..and one other "Brother" that wasn't a witness when we went..(his wife was a JW.). but later did become one..came up and talked with me. We had seen him in the hospital when hubby was in there. His wife had cancer and was dying. He came up to tell me he just found out he also had cancer!..I gave him a big hug and started crying..

So sometimes you gotta wonder..why is it OK for some to be compassionate and not others?..Is it the JW thing or just the person needs an excuse to be evil?

ps..If they show up...You know that after a few of your questions they will just scratch their heads and say"Well I guess we better be going now!"..there is no way possible they can explain the things we know!

all these xjw forums are hurting the watchtower org, and hardly anyone is joining anymore... kingdom halls are emptying and hardly anyone is going door to door anymore.

the morale, in the congregations, is at it's lowest.. now stop it !!

Online WT article: Religion - How Should It Be Financed?

in light of the recent letter read to congregations, it would be good to review the article they have on financing religion.

while jehovah's witnesses do not practice tithing, they sure do have a way of getting that proverbial plate round the congregations.. for those not familiar with the recent letter to congregations in the us, here is a snippet... wts bills us jws $8.4 million for traveling overseers.

being announced at service meetings this week at all us congregations:.

I wonder how they broke it to the publishers that they needed to donate an extra $8.50? was it..to make up the deficiett(sp?)..in the Overseers etc....support/car insurance/car rental/health insurance/traveling expense fund?

I'm sure they announced it at the KH..and was voted on..Did you ever hear someone say No?

I was wondering when I originally read the whole thing.(Posted in it's entirety) .it said the funds they had collected like 8 or so years ago was depleted..I was wondering how much they had collected at that time to last them so long? And why they were only going for a year this time?
